there is a poop test now that is very accurate, so you don't necessarily even need a colonoscopy.

As mentioned above that test only picks up cancer DNA, it doesn't pick up pre-cancerous polyps. Far better to not wait until you have actual cancer. It's not a substitute.

If it shows up on a CT scan, it's going to be pretty advanced.
