I'm with others...
If you are: 1) active 2) within a mid-range BMI 3) not experiencing any health problems; and 4) eating quality foods Why do you think you should eat less? What does your doctor say? |

You are crazy. I will also bet that you are not eating all that much if you only weigh 120 lbs, If your appetite was really so big that you were eating a ton you would be gaining weight. |
Have you tried higher fat/protein to carb ration? I hesitate to advocate “keto” because that diet is super restrictive, but a keto-esque diet has really helped me eat less and lose weight because I’m much more full with higher fat meals. |

If you ever become less active then your appetite will probably decrease. If you are maintaining your weight, which is perfectly healthy, there is no reason you should eat less. |
The OP does not need to lose weight. OMG. |

Try not to overthink it. If you were an elite runner, your metabolism is probably revved up for life. Or at least for another decade. Enjoy it!
You could try to fill up a little more on vegetables. And make sure you're drinking a lot of water. |
Why yes, 120lbs is getting on the heavy side. If OP is Asian and has one leg. |
Op, please consult your doctor. Hormone Replacement Therapy may help. Also please talk to someone about what sounds like body dysmophia. |
What happens when you are less active? Does your appetite lessen?
I think it’s less about reducing the amount but making sure what you do eat is as nutritious as possible. Which is sounds like you are. I would assume that if you get injured you’re appetite would adjust, especially if you’ve got a habit of making good choices. |
I am similar, OP. I have a very large appetite for my frame to the point that it has been remarked upon by many. I don't snack so I have really large meals. I just make sure I'm staying hydrated before and after meals so that my body doesn't mistake thirst for hunger, and the majority of my meal is vegetables then protein with little to no simple carbs. |
This is me also. I added a lot of resistance training and I love how i look. I notice people looking at my fabulous toned legs. ( It helps I am wearing shorter skirts.) And yes, I am now officially 50 and fabulous. |
