Sad to hear it has closed. Someone please update us if a new one opens elsewhere in the mall.
Hard to imagine in this retail age that a mall is pushing out any retailer who wants to be there.

They have awesome cauliflower mash

Is that where Maggianos is going?

I’ve been at Tyson’s the past 2 weekends. It’s booming! Not a ghost town at all. It looked like it was back-to-school weekend or Christmas. Tough to get parking. People brushing shoulders because there was so much flow. Far from a ghost town!

It will reopen in a new location in early 2025.

Lol I thought the same thing. It was there for maybe 20 years? If that? It wasn't even part of the original Tysons before they expanded it a ton with restaurants theater etc.

Agree. Tysons is always packed.

And, yes, I believe either Cheesecake Factory or Maggiano’s are moving there from Tysons II.

A worker they told me that in the upstairs section is going to be a laser tag or escape room tight place and downstairs is going to be a cheesecake factory.

Oh man. I loved that store but have not been to Tysons in awhile. I grew up in Tysons and it is unrecognizable at this point. All of the best restaurants are gone which is a soap box I could scream from for days!

Also, just get a damn e-reader like the rest of us in the 21st Century. Ir if you insist on a hard copy, get it delivered to your door from Amazon.

What makes it iconic is her memories of it and your “solution” of just reading on a device and having things delivered via Amazon is why we’re now in this awful hellscape of no physical media and no third spaces. We can’t just accept the closing down of every single place that provided goods and services because Amazon can download the thing on our fiftieth Amazon device.

What is happening to all the staff? Sad.

Some of you don't remember when Tysons was one floor. THAT was iconic.

I went to a section of the mall just a few weeks ago where all the businesses were empty near where they have Santa / Easter pictures
