I would like to get texts only from McPS inergencirs but would like to be able to get texts or emails from my kids teachers. I do not want the McPS promotional material. Is there a way to opt in for specific types of communications? It does feel like spam.
I’d block the number but I don’t want to miss texts if there is a school closure or a shooter at my kids school or something.

Maybe due to.the same glitch that caused them to send multiple messages?

This. Texts should be reserved for emergencies or very important stuff.
