If you have siatica these are terrible!!! |
Fun fact I learned last summer: Canadians call them Muskoka chairs (although they swear these are slightly different and more comfortable)

We have the Polywood Adirondack chairs and I absolutely love them. Easy to maintain, well built. Love to relax in one with a beer or glass of wine. |
They are terrible if you have back, hip or knee issues. Your hips and pelvis should be angled that way. |
* shouldn't |
Love ours! Nice for reading, easy arms to rest a cup of coffee, and very comfortable for me. If I had issues that made them uncomfortable or simply found them uncomfortable, I'd just buy different chairs. I wouldn't suggest my elderly father sit in them, but I also wouldn't drive him places in our Jeep but instead use out car that's more comfortable for his needs. Like everything, people make the choices that work best for them at the time. |
We like that they’re heavy and won’t blow away…ever. |
I don't like them, too uncomfortable.
I always heard they were a sign of swingers but not sure if that's true. |
+1 |
I’m taller and I have found that as the I age, they get more uncomfortable. |
It's all about the beer. |
I don’t hate them but 99% of the time I’d prefer a rocking chair. |
Oh dear! I was thinking of purchasing a set but we aren’t swingers. |
Look pretty but I find them very uncomfortable. |
I think it’s the vibe the evoke. I get a sense of calm just seeing one. Sitting down in one makes me relaxed. And then I usually think, this isn’t really very comfortable. But still, that easy vibe has been set. |
