+1 this is what we do. Hit up Costco beforehand!

Popsicles if it’s hot, otherwise oranges and cucumbers.

Although I wish we would get away from snacks. They don’t need them and it’s another thing to organize and all the pre-packaged snacks create so much trash.

Assorted chips
Small containers of pringles
Individual Oreo packs
Popcorn
Individual packaged Rice Krispie treats

All the above are huge hits after our soccer games. Some parents do Gatorade too

So you have your kid participate in athletic activity and then fill them with processed junk food? No wonder America is obese.

I'm not the person you're replying to, but yes my kid eats that junk at practice and at birthday parties, and that's it.

This clearly differs community by community because of someone brought this to our team, they’d be ostracized

Cucumbers?

I would love to see this in the wild.

Most kids would politely say "no, thank you". If you must do fruit do mandarin oranges or cuties that they can peel and eat later.

What community would this be?

I’d love to see more watermelon. Not as sticky as oranges and just as good.

Not as bad as the lady who always brought seaweed snacks to ours.

Our snacks are required to be individually wrapped now so no pre-cut fruits or vegetables. So far this season for my 4th grader’s team, people have brought clementines , Popcorners, Pirates booty , and those Simple mills cheese crackers and usually Body Armor drinks.

My kid and his friends actually love those, but can’t say it ever would have occurred to me to take them as a post-game snack!

My kid would destroy the seaweed snacks but I suspect he’s in the minority there.

They are extremely salty/high sodium so a very odd and stinky choice after kids have been running around on a soccer field for an hour.
