Also where Are you staying and how are you getting to and from concert?

I am not the PP, but I saw a concert at Wembley last summer and we took the Tube. Getting there was fine, but getting back took awhile because it was very crowded. Security was good, though, and it was as efficient as it could be, but just be prepared.

Yes I'm thinking tube there and a driver home.

Be prepared to walk quite a distance to meet driver/Uber. Anytime there is a big event like that the local roads are a total mess. Can easily take 45 minutes to get in/out. I'd assume you should walk 3/4 to 1 mile away.

Ugh I'm sort of dreading this. I'm too old lol. Any other ideas to get in and out?

Even the walk to the Tube is a distance away. Wembley is huge and there are apartments and other buildings all around it. I didn't mind the walk - everyone was happy and it was a festive atmosphere. It was also a beautiful night. I would just prepare to be patient.

My move is see what direction most people are going on the subway/Tube, and if that's my direction, take the train the less crowded way one stop, and then get on in my original direction. Less waiting to get onto the platform, and should be able to get a seat.

Not a good idea if you taking a longer distance train that doesn't run often.

Just take the tube both ways and accept that it will be crowded. It is a walk from the station to the stadium but you’d have to walk to meet a driver too, and the traffic will be awful.

Where would you be flying from? If it's east coast US, arriving in Thursday morning is fine. If you have to fly over 13 hours to get there, I would arrive sometime Wed.

It's usually when you return from a trip that you would feel jet lagged.

Why not just arrive extra early and go sightseeing? No point in skimping on the last bit of such an expensive trip.

There are hotels walking distance to Wembley - that's what we are doing, just for the night of the Swift concert.

I'm arriving on Saturday morning to see Taylor on Sunday night.

Departing Monday.

I’ve only been to Europe a few times, but each time I landed in the morning, took a mid-day nap for an hour or so, stayed up to a normal bedtime and was good to go! I agree coming back is harder.

Thursday either overnight flight Weds or day flight Thursday. I am in a London theater as I write Friday night, arrived day flight Wednesday.

I fly to the UK once or twice a year. I usually need at least 48hrs to feel normal, however I don't usually have any problems staying awake in the evenings, it is getting up in the morning that is hard!
