At what age did your child start playing with other kids cooperatively?

My girls started really early probably around 2 or 3. My boy started much later. He was not even doing much pretend play until well past 3. He is totally fine with no issue (that we can see) at 5. He now plays board games (not a big fan), play pretend games with other boys, soccer, and we were told he is super social.
