Terrible. Then you completely alter the pH and salinity of the soil that ends up killing all sorts of beneficial microbes and will keep earthworms away. Vinegar is really an awful suggestion, and people need to stop promulgating it.

Roundup is fine when used properly. The amount of systemic exposure to an individual is going to be extremely limited when used properly.
