Can you just pretend it's spring and wear your dress?

Those poofy sleeves need a sweater with big sleeves. Don’t love the dress, but an oversize cashmere cardigan in a lighter color would be good, you could also do a linen blazer. I would try to not do black, something more tonal with dress.

You clearly haven't been paying attention. With new technology, there are some lovely patterns in tights these days. You wear them to show them off, not to hide your legs. But in this instance, you also wear them to warm up a little.

This. And just came back from a family interment where everyone wore hose. This "sexually available" naked no-hose look is cheap and is phasing out

I was on the fence about the dress itself, but it looks good on. And the colors are good for me.
