Really, Wheaton should be the home of a performing arts program. They have amazing performance space. So good, that the county said there will never be another like it. Too expensive.

It would also be a nice balance to engineering and biomed.

Wheaton is about to get its own arts and cultural center. We should be talking about how WHS, Kennedy and Einstein students can leverage and use this center as a resource student enrichment instead of insisting MCPS be on the hook to build and run everything, which they're not good at and simply isn't feasible.

This isn’t about Wheaton. Wheaton doesn’t have the artsy reputation that Einstein has. The students who go to Einstein take it seriously as career paths.

Einstein needs to be torndown and redone. It's a dump. The auditorium is tiny and they have to have multiple concerts for each group because they cannot fit everyone in. They could go up with Einstein.

Einstein is a good school. Worrying about graduation rates isn't the issue. They need to get rid of the IB program and bring more AP's and higher level classes.

Based on demand, they could also use another STEM magnet or 3.

It would be a nice option for smart kids into arts. Wheaton has higher level math and science. Einstein is very limited.
