SYC coaches to Arlington

If you have an ounce of a brain cell and familiarity, you would know all those SYC coaches(HG, JR and AP) were part of the problem, they just decided to do it elsewhere, ask around. If you think Arlington got a boost you got viruses looking to infest your club.

Now we see why SYC wins kickball tournaments but can't get a single kid into a D1 school for soccer...low IQ.

LOL you must be living under a rock. Both coaches didn’t even last a season with the 2011 MLS Next. HG took over ther beginning of Fall and the team just crumbled. JR took over after HG f-ed the team up. JR isn’t much better, he has a big kid in the goal box and has the team playing kickball. JR is leaving cause he thinks he is too good and under paid, just check his IG parting away post.

I heard HG is bringing a bunch of SYC kids with him cause he has families who like him that much, I guess. (Wouldn’t know it from this forum.) What about the other SYC-to-Arlington coaches?

Hence the third team assignments. Now do JW and AP. Have never heard anything bad about either.

JR bragged about all the players he knows who wants to come join SYC. None of them showed up. In fact, he was so desperate he gave a kid a verbal offer so he would come join practices cause they needed bodies.

Unnecessary changes for Arlington. Start to the spring has seen the 2015 red boys beat McLean, Alexandria, and handle SYC in all facets other than an unfortunate outcome of 5-4. CD has them playing top level soccer. All in consecutive weeks. Agreed that HG has a reputation following him and there’s something to be said about walking away from a program that wins. All of the other clubs merging, throwing cash at old names, etc. is more comical than this.

Looks like HG fits right in with your focus on winning at U9, dont cry when you see your son get replaced with a kid from Woodbridge or manassas. CD gets replaced after 1 season, last I checked we tried out for his team back when he had 2013's and they were a mess, big strong kids who can shoot but cant string together 3 passes.
