All of the above suggestions have monkfruit, stevia, etc…… any other ideas? |
Koias are delicious! |
Buy grass-fed cow milk whey powder made with a "cold process" to preserve as much nutrition as possible (as it's a highly processed food)
mix it with kefir or yogurt to get more whole-organism benefit. ** Add it to a smoothie in a big blender and Keep a big container in the fridge - enough for a few days. pour it in a go-cup. **The better balanced your gut the easier it will be to find your most efficient weight |
Maybe Premier protein? None of these are going to be perfect. |
I prefer Koia or OWYN plant-based shakes because I’m lactose intolerant. |
This doesn’t exist. All of these “protein drinks” that are low in sugar, or no sugar use artificial sweeter or stevia/monkfruit. Hence why they are low in sugar. Just eat real food. This is your answer |

These and Premier protein are both filled with altricial sweeteners |
Why do you think you need so much protein? Just eat food with protein in it and stay off Instagram. |
Milk or unsweetened kefir. |
Again, you are not going to find a shelf stable high protein drink that doesn't have artificial sweetener. Your best bet is to blend your own with fruit and a scoop of unflavored protein powder. |
Just eat a piece of chicken and drink water. Add fruit and vegetables. |
This. I get 160+ grams of protein daily w/ real food. I eat a ton of grilled ckn, Turkey burgers, Turkey/cheese wraps etc. it’s pretty easy to hit protein goals w lean meats. Cook up a ton of meat and veggies on the weekend and mid-week and grab it to go. High quality cold cuts are another easy solution. |
Yeah, the Bolthouse ones have like 50g of sugar |
Premier protein shakes. Come in lots of flavors via their site or Amazon. Low sugar. 30 grams of protein. They don’t have fiber added but I take a blender bottle cup, add 2-3 tablespoons of Benefiber to some hot water and a scoop of freeze dried coffee/espresso, mix that up, add ice, then add a premixed shake. Shake it up and sip with a straw all morning. Caffeinates me, fills me up, doesn’t taste bad, and keeps me regular. I don’t get hungry again until afternoon.
If you do the fiber powder start with half a tablespoon and increase over time or you’ll get blocked up and have bad gas. Also the Costco version (generic clear fiber powder) is way cheaper if you end up making it a daily thing. They also sell premier shakes for a decent price but less variety. |
