Those who are 5'4"- 5'5" what is your best weight?

I am 5’5. I settled at 135 after all of my kids (age 34). I have been up to 148 last year (age 44) but also in a lot better shape and more muscles. But I am trying lose now and I am down to 142. I think 135 would be good but not sure if I will get there.

I’ve been majorly overweight my whole life. Right now I’m 5’5 and 150. It feels very small for me. I feel like I looked better closer to the 170. I just feel saggy and sunken in. I’m assuming because I’m used to seeing my self at over 200lbs. I see most people on this thread at my height feel too large at anywhere near 150.

A lot of women wear bras that are too small for them, its common.
Their breasts fit in so they think its the right size.
When you get fitted for a bra properly you will often end up with a bra size a few sizes bigger than you thought you were.

I’m 5’4.5”. My lowest adult weight was 140 and I had to work incredibly hard for that weight. But I looked amazing. I can’t even fathom being 15-20 lbs lighter like some of you. I’m 164 now and I would feel great at 150.

That is true. I’m the PP and I remember being 118 when I got married. I can’t even imagine what it would take to get to that now. But I also didn’t lift weights so I’d probably have to let my muscles go. Haha

Petite bone structure 5’4” 110.

5’4”. 122 pounds.

Same weight as I was 27 years ago when I got married.

I have always worked out. I really have to limit calories to lose any weight. The lowest I’ve been was 116, but that is not sustainable for me.

5’3 here. 2 kids/ mid 40’s. My best weight is 145- when I’m not hardcore restricting and also weightlifting. I can’t run due to injuries.

When I was younger I would’ve said 130. I’ve always been muscular/ stout. At my skinniest I was 120 and that was in my teens (I was a multi sport athlete).

Right now I’m eating whatever I want and I’m about 150. Sometimes life is too short to pass up the ice cream.

5'4" here and currently 140. I've ranged from 130-145 since high school - I'm busty (34F) and muscular. Think I look my best at 135. Hard to get there now that I'm over 50 but I'm still trying.

5’4”, 55/menopausal. Petite, small-featured but always have been very large chested: I’m now a 33E. Former college cheerleader, then aerobics teacher : in my teens, I was 117 and lean to too thin. Now after 3DC I think I’m healthiest and look my best hovering around 135 and size 6/8/10 (dresses/pants/swimsuits).

I’m very hard to fit.

Same! I was in the teens in my twenties and in the 120s in my thirties and early 40s. I’d be thrilled to be back at 135 but seem stuck at 150 despite a month of dieting!

Similar age and numbers here.
Was stuck at 150 for ages but have now broken through, losing very well now (1.2lbs a week for the last few months). Its interesting.

Good question - the only thing i can think of is added a bit more protein and fiber (i.e. filling foods). Therefore not eating much chocolate or ice cream for eg, not feeling that craving.

Thanks. That’s what I’ve been trying to do too and avoid sweets and the scale has finally budged from 145.
