Same, able to access everywhere and share with classmates if someone has to miss a class. He trips his notes meaning takes in class, re-writes with further research and context, then re-writes one final time comparing the progression from first to last. Saves a lot of paper. |
Profs do not all allow laptops or other electronic devices |
The price of paper compared to the price of an iPad? |
Notebook. Pencil. |
Does he pull them up on a computer to rewrite? Or flip back and forth? |
Does it all on the iPad, MacBook or phone. Able to pull from the cloud and can acess anywhere. Continues on same file for all three iterations. Convenient, I only know this because he broke his hand a couple months ago and was freaking out he couldn't write. He's a bio-chem econ major so writing formulas is his thing. The one plus was he was able to study for a test the next day while in the ER for 6 hours. |
Laptop- this is at a big state flagship. |
Professor here (different one). My students who do that are the ones who earn the lowest grades. I look out at them and can see it coming a mile away. I've been doing this for 20+ years, so it's not a new data point. |
