How do your college students take class notes?

Mine takes notes on her iPad, but she says that’s not typical.

Same, able to access everywhere and share with classmates if someone has to miss a class. He trips his notes meaning takes in class, re-writes with further research and context, then re-writes one final time comparing the progression from first to last. Saves a lot of paper.

Does he pull them up on a computer to rewrite? Or flip back and forth?

Does it all on the iPad, MacBook or phone. Able to pull from the cloud and can acess anywhere. Continues on same file for all three iterations. Convenient, I only know this because he broke his hand a couple months ago and was freaking out he couldn't write. He's a bio-chem econ major so writing formulas is his thing. The one plus was he was able to study for a test the next day while in the ER for 6 hours.

Professor here (different one). My students who do that are the ones who earn the lowest grades. I look out at them and can see it coming a mile away. I've been doing this for 20+ years, so it's not a new data point.
