Melania has designed and sold jewelry for a long time. It’s her business. She can’t have an established business? Women are vulgar for having a business? I agree with the poster above, the families of presidents should make money to support themselves. Intellectual pursuits, haha, selling books about their personal lives isn’t intellectual, it’s selling the personal details of their lives to the curious. Nobody needs a lecture from a wealthy privileged 1%er. Hard pass. |
Four leaf clovers mean good fortune whereas three leaf clovers mean nothing. |
Bingo. Not to mention, why isn't this on the fashion forum? |
She is selling oral mumbo jumbo advice, what's the difference? People sell what their customers want. |
She actually just posted a video of her going undercover to Target to see her new book on sale. |
SO INTELLECTUAL |
The former escort, former First Lady is so much classier. Please. Going to see your book on a Target shelf isn’t the same as selling QVC-level jewelry because your husband desperately needs money for his legal problems. The MAGA cult stops at nothing to defend Dear Leader and his family. |
The Daily Mail has agreed to pay damages and issue an apology to first lady Melania Trump to settle defamation claims over the British tabloid's insinuations that she "provided services beyond simply modelling." The basis for the lawsuits in the U.S. and the U.K. was the Mail's report about Melania's time as a model, published online and in a two-page article last summer under the headline, "Racy photos and troubling questions about his wife's past that could derail Trump." A joint statement between the parties was read aloud by Melania Trump's lawyer, John Kelly, in London's Royal Courts of Justice, according to The Guardian. The statement read, in part: "The allegations strike at the heart of the claimant's personal integrity and dignity. The claimant has not acted as alleged. The suggestion that such allegations even merit investigation is deeply offensive and has caused a great deal of upset to the claimant." The Mail posted its apology on its website: "The Mail Online website and the Daily Mail newspaper published an article on 20th August 2016 about Melania Trump which questioned the nature of her work as a professional model, and republished allegations that she provided services beyond simply modelling. The article included statements that Mrs. Trump denied the allegations and Paulo Zampolli, who ran the modelling agency, also denied the allegations, and the article also stated that there was no evidence to support the allegations. The article also claimed that Mr and Mrs Trump may have met three years before they actually met, and 'staged' their actual meeting as a 'ruse.' We accept that these allegations about Mrs Trump are not true and we retract and withdraw them. We apologise to Mrs Trump for any distress that our publication caused her. To settle Mrs Trump's two lawsuits against us, we have agreed to pay her damages and costs." The terms of the settlement were not released in court. The Associated Press reports that the total for the U.S. and U.K. lawsuits is $2.9 million. https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/04/12/523581249/melania-trump-and-the-daily-mail-settle-libel-lawsuits The biggest liar (you) can’t stop lying. Jealous fatty is jealous. |
The newspaper had reported allegations that Melania Trump once worked as an escort, but later retracted the claims. The story was published during the US election campaign last year. Mrs Trump accepted damages and an apology from the newspaper at London's High Court. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-39575680.amp Melania Trump wins round in libel suit over blogger’s ‘escort’ claims First lady Melania Trump prevailed Friday in the first round of a $150 million libel suit she filed against a Maryland blogger over a report he published last summer about claims that Trump worked as a “high-end escort.” Montgomery County Circuit Court Judge Sharon Burrell rejected arguments from lawyers for blogger Webster Tarpley to dismiss Trump’s suit for failing to meet the “actual malice” standard for public figures. The judge also turned down Tarpley’s effort to dismiss the suit under a Maryland law aimed at quickly shutting down bad-faith lawsuits intended to intimidate people speaking out on issues of public concern. “The court finds the plaintiff has stated a claim for defamation,” Burrell ruled after hearing arguments on the issue in a Rockville courtroom. “The court believes most people, when they hear the words ‘high-end escort’ that describes a prostitute. There could be no more defamatory statement than to call a woman a prostitute.” https://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/melania-trump-libel-suit-blogger-234263 Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Melania sued dcum? 🍿👀 |
This is degrading our current first lady. Look at the number of brilliant students she graduates every single year. These students became famous writers, physicians, musicians, lawyers. She helps to shape the next generation of America - smart, brilliant, innovative. |
Not really. Her business has been “Trump’s wife,” and that’s okay, but don’t pretend she’s some fabulous businesswoman. Or even a middling businesswoman |

Can you afford the loss? |
Three leaf clovers symbolize the Holy Trinity. As a person of Irish descent, I’m a little offended at her appropriating the shamrock. It’s also a little odd looking — I think it’s upside down? Any way, this is far far from the most offensive thing they’ve done. This is a big whatever. I feel like qvc would have this priced more like 150 though—I am a little curious what her markup is on this. |
The upside down shamrock is code for I am a trumper. |
Or maybe a secret sign that she actually supports Biden. |
