Way to listen to music that isn't on phone

Yes and the itouch—phone photos and text without internet.

DD has an Apple Watch with cellular and AirPods, used it with Apple Music. Great for long car trips, exercising, etc. No phone needed.

My 13 year old has an old stereo system. He buys albums, CDs, and tapes at thrift shops.

He also has his phone and computer for streaming music, but limited access because it just gets to be too much screen time and then he surfs around to other programs, texts, etc.

That Mighty Music thing looks great. I wish that had existed back when my kids were young enough for this to be a major issue.
