Solid B students (boys) at Catholic K-8s

Consider your kids’ Bs blessings. They are learning they are not the be all and end all with all As, like so many other kids. They will gain perspective and will not be among the straight A students suddenly spiraling and having mental health crises in college. Of course encourage them to do well, but when I look back and see the damage done by the overprotective grade grubber parents, it is sobering.

The area high schools know the rigor of each elementary and weigh them accordingly. Your child’s Bs might be stronger/weaker than a similar grades at another school.
