How was it horrible? Currently it is what works best for anxiety overall. He most effective treatment. It isn’t all that controversial so I not sure what bad experience you had. It’s about learning to connect feelings, thoughts and behaviour, learning the cycle of anxiety, and learning how to reframe your thinking to reduce your anxiety. It’s like going to physio.

It isnt. Maybe that poster thought CBt was something else, like ECT or something. (Which isn’t bad either).
