Dog peed on bed

It really depends in how much it soaked in and the type of.mattress. If it really soaked in, it's going to be almost impossible.

Try mixing an enzyme cleaner with baking soda,.letting it dry and then vacuuming it off. That's what's worked best for me in the past.

Is this a sign of illness?

My dog peed on our bed after we returned from being out of town for a week.
But has been ok since then….no signs of illness…

Agree that Nature's Miracle smells terrible. I don't know why so many people recommend it. I think it smells worse than pee.

I haven't used Bio-Kleen, but I've had good luck with Rocco and Roxie.

This. If cost is a factor, go to Ikea. Keeping the mattress is gross.

This. I love my little dog to death but pee smell is a no-go. It would be frustrating but worth the cost/hassle to just get a new mattress….. A lesson learned. My sense of smell is very strong and the slightest bit of heat may make the smell resurface. And I can’t imagine making my kid sleep on the bed after this.
