Hot Takes on Arlington U9 Tryouts?

We went and it seemed fine. There are some awesome players in this age group! We were in the 6:30 to 7:45 time slot. I really have no idea what it all means…there were 4 groups I believe and the two closest to the parking lot were solid. The groups tonight definitely looked like the stronger ones as compared to last weekend. Guess we hear this week which color teams they are all in.

Nothing yet except an email that said we would hear this week. I’m sure it will be later in the week….

You got an email saying this week? There was a mass email sent out that said “by the 28th.”

Oops I missed the “end of this week” part. I saw “by the 28th” and, given our past experience so far with this, interpreted that as “first week of May, after we send a mass email at 11:59pm on April 28 saying we had to change the date.” 🤣

I think that’s for the older age groups. I can’t remember which ages exactly but it was in one of the mass emails.

How many teams does Arlingotn 2016 girls have? What does G Spirit mean?

Does anyone know what the team names mean? Are the 2016 teams ranked like the older teams that use colors? Confused by the premier league names of the teams instead of the usual Red, White, Blue.

I think they’re ranked….looking at the coaching line up, seems every team color is the highest to lowest. Also, makes sense that Mavis is coaching Spirit which is first listed. We got on Dash and we’ll take it!

Congrats! Hopefully someone can confirm the rankings of these teams. Not sure why they didn’t just use the color coding system. This is more confusing.

Here is the fee schedule which shows the order again…and spirit is definitely number 1 considering they do 5 tournaments and the rest are 4. Safe to say that the order listed on email coach line up is highest to lowest.
