MCSL is kinda like that too. They don’t get paid much. If you put them in payroll, then there are taxes taken out. Kids do it for the fun, not the money. I don’t know any pool that pays junior coaches a real decent salary.

IIRC our NVSL pool paid $13/hour last year. Not great, and that didn’t include helping at meets, pep rallies, etc. which was still expected, but it kept DC in pocket money for the summer and the end of season gift was actually almost equal to the amount DC had made during the season.
