Havanese are not cavs

There are 3 cockers in our extended family and all are lovable, snuggly lumps of fur. The two females are 20 and 23 pounds. The male is 34. They all came from a breeder in CT who limits her litters to just 1-3 a year depending on which dogs are ready. She owns 4 dogs and shows 3 of them.

Nothing “poo.” Ugh

Yeah. The "poo" trend needs to die a quick death. Nothing cute about them.

Our cavapoo was the best dog but he also had the heart issue. The cardiologist told us that the poodle hybrid thing is mostly a myth.

+100

People don’t seem to understand how genetics work in real life. You don’t get a balanced mix of traits just because you breed two dogs. You could get all or nothing and everything in between. Breeding dogs is not like mixing a cocktail.
