Boden actually does have a lot of 100% cotton dresses. I have a bunch. |
i see lots of Banjanan on the Real Real and ebay and was considering buying for my 26 year old daughter, but was worried they would need to be dry cleaned? Anyone have experience washing on delicate and hanging to dry? Some appear to be a sort of cotton voile that I suspect never look the same once washed. |
Some nice Reformation dupes, but they want $120 a year for the privilege of buying cheaply made stuff? Hard pass. |
I am the one who suggested them and I'm 50 - so I hope so! |
This is technically a swim cover, but I wear it as a dress. I have the black and it's not sheer at all- I would guess the white probably is. The slits on the sides are high enough that it gives it a little something while still being flowy and loose.
https://www.jcrew.com/p/womens/categories/clothing/swimwear/long-beach-shirt-in-airy-gauze/BX634 I also wear D&D nighties as dresses. There are linen and cotton options. All very comfy. https://desmondanddempsey.com/collections/womens-nighties-1 |
I agree. All of my Boden dresses are 100% cotton. |
I'm seeing a bunch, but it turns out that most of the patterns I like are viscose. |
Madewell has a bunch of all cotton dresses, too
And if you can get over the rest of what's on the site - and you're the right size for it - Vermont Country Store has a bunch of nice looking block print all cotton dresses. |
Oh so did I. A bunch in various sizes to try. Thanks op. The name though, why Fatface?! |
D’Ascoli
Alicia Bell Roller Rabbit All are similar to banjanan. Vineyard Vines has some cute all cotton dresses at a lower price point than above. |
I happened on this one which I really like -- looks like even the patterned ones are 100% cotton: https://www.bodenusa.com/en-us/florrie-jersey-dress-green-tambourine-ivory-stripe/sty-j0849-bgr |
