There’s no way to play both soccer and lax right

VA Private schools play soccer in the Fall. Kids that play these two sports often go the private school route, at least in part, for this reason.

Thank you for all the insights. Get back here to report that DD is accepted to Arlington travel soccer, should we try out lax? Which club with quality athlete developmental programs do you think supports multi-sport athletes the best?

For her age it really doesn’t matter. Pride and stars have better developmental programs. If you live in McLean then pick Pride for better field locations. Typically kids her age would also do basketball. Keep her options open

My DD does Pride and another travel sport. Lots of teammates for MYS, too.

Doing soccer and lacrosse together, especially if you’re trying to do them both at travel level, is how you easily identify the craziest of the crazy sports parents. They might as well get a tattoo on their forehead.

My oldest daughter did travel soccer and lacrosse (Pride). After one season, she told us she preferred lacrosse and stuck with that. I am glad she figured it out because it was very hard to manage with four kids.
