Any positive stories of plastic surgery in 40s?

I’d do a TT too but I’m freaked out about the recovery and potential complications. I wish I’d done it sooner. OP it only gets harder to heal as you get older so I’d say if you really want it, nows the time. FWIW I also got veneers in my 40’s. My teeth were straight but tiny and it always drove me nuts my entire life. It’s silly thing probably no one else notices but it really improved my outlook. DH didn’t even know I had it done until the credit card bill arrived

How long is the recovery for tummy lipo? I would love it. Am 45 but terrified of recovery and complications.

It was pretty easy honestly. The first couple of days I was bruised and sore but after that I was fine. My doctor didn’t do any drains. I did it in the winter which was nice because you have to wear supportive garments and they could be hot in the summer.

I did rhino in my early 40’s and I am so happy that I did. My nose always bothered me, and now it just doesn’t. I wish I had done it earlier!

You wouldn’t neglect upkeep on a 40 year old house and wouldn’t think twice about fixing something that could be improved.

I’m interested in chin lipo. Who did yours?

I’m in my mid-40s too and had upper bleph done at Cosmetic Surgery Associates in Bethesda because their reputation and before/after results really impressed me. My outcome looks very natural — the bleph made me look more awake without changing my expression. I had the same worries about surgery at this age, but my results honestly turned out better and more subtle than I expected.

I had my procedure done in July 2025 with Dr. Magge in Bethesda, and I couldn’t be happier with both the repair and the aesthetic result. My belly button healed beautifully, very naturally, which was one of my biggest concerns, too. I still get compliments about how I keep my body looking like this after having three kids, and it’s truly because the work was done so well. I’d absolutely recommend him.

Um this post and the one above it — for the same place — are clearly ads….

I did upper and lower blepharoplasty in my late 30s. Great decision. I had droopy eyelids and emerging bags. It's genetic; my sister and mom both had this and also got the surgery. I was looking at some photos of me in my 20s that I hadn't seen in a while and I was droopy then. Best thing I ever did.

How much did you pay for the upper bleph?

I haven't had it on my face.

But I had a breast reduction/lift and I'm so glad I did.

No, they aren't.

You must be the same person that wrongly responds to every post in the real estate section with "Clearly this is the real estate agent trying to drum up interest."
