Acupuncture is great to add!
Before your next retrieval have 3+ months of COQ10 on board. Therogix Ovavite is good. Have you looked into DHEA?

Work with the acupuncturist for a while ahead too. Come back and let us know!

PS I found my acupuncturist via my insurance website. She was the only one near me, turns out that she’s great! It all adds up, so it’s nice to try someone in-network.

I just started with NuWave Acupuncture today and she said she likes to see people up to six months prior but understands that doesn't always work with people's schedules.

Kelly Welch in downtown DC. Acupuncture DOES work for fertility. He lengthened my luteal phase from like 8 to 12 days after just 1-2 months of treatment. Obviously it depends on the issue, but that was what was holding me back from sustaining a pregnancy. It worked for two pregnancies. I went through the first 10 weeks until placenta took over, because my hormones just...aren't ideal for pregnancy.

No idea if it helped get pregnant but felt great to just "do something for me" and I felt very calm all day afterwards.

I saw her too, she is wonderful. It turned out I needed some serious meds to stay pregnant (blood thinners, synthroid) but I do credit acupuncture with helping regulate my cycle after several miscarriages in a row, before I went to an RE for IUI. (which worked on the first try, lucky me.) And if not, whatever, it was very relaxing indeed and Deb is a great (inadvertent) therapist.

It can't hurt, anyway. Sometimes you need to know you are doing all you can.

I was seeing a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and he did suggest I try acupuncture to supplement IUI and IVF but it didn’t work. for me, it was a waste of time and money. It was not cheap and not covered by insurance.

Take it with a grain of salt.

I was with her for 1 month before getting pregnant in my first IVF cycle. It ended in miscarriage late first trimester but not her fault. That was the final straw. I got agreesive with my search for a specialist that finally diagnosed a clotting disorder. I'm trying again and she is the highlight of my week, truly.
