Intent and feelings makes the difference.
DH has several female friends from before we got together. He gives them a hug hello and goodbye. One of his male friends passed away, and he gave the wife a hug. Now, if he hugged a woman whom he was attracted to in private, and not as a hello or goodbye, I would be suspicious. |

An ass out hug with someone you have a huge crush on isn’t cheating, an ass in hug with someone you don’t have a crush on isn’t cheating, an ass in hug with someone you have a crush on is the closest you can get to cheating without cheating. If you’re tilting your pelvis’ in whether there’s a crush or not that’s stage one dry humping and that’s probably cheating.
