I am fascinated by Swedish language after watching this - some Swedish words are literally also English words. I expect this in Spanish and French because we're all coming from Romance languages, but hadn't expected it from Swedish language.

Agree about Sergio!!

And then to say he almost didn’t go on the honeymoon? Talk about red flags!

I am glad that woman turned Jonah down, she was definitely his second choice.

Interesting how the men were worried the woman would not be attractive enough, but not that she might not find HIM unattractive ?!

Gotta love that make ego!!!!

I might need to watch this part again. In the pods, it seemed like the woman was the one pushing their relationship and I almost thought she was going to propose. But then it felt like all of a sudden she had a change of heart and had to share her “insight” that he still liked Meira. I thought they had an understanding that while he was still getting over the rejection, he wanted to see what could develop with woman #2.

But he also said "I cannot say those 3 words to you". It was more like he wanted to continue the relationship and not get engaged.

Sergio is such an Ahole. I read that Swedish aren't religious so it's very hard for someone like Amanda to find another who believes in Church and God. I don't believe for a second that Sergio actually goes to Church and was just lying to her like everything else.

HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD That show has made me really uncomfortable. Only one couple looks like they will make it (Rasmus and Krissy-Ly) and he won her over by basically offering a family to her early on when it's her major desire due to trauma. He is sort of a pig and very shallow. I don't like seeing a strong, awesome woman like Amelia stay in a situation with no attraction because SHE finds him so attractive. Amanda is one of the purest, kindest people I have ever seen on tv. I truly think she is so sheltered she has zero idea people like Sergio, a narcissistic, devious man, actually exist. Meira just doesn't want a Swedish preppy man, so he ends up feeling bad about who he is which is wrong as well. Same with purple hair guy who is so kind and just not Catja's type. Just terrible matches all around.

So Sweden is not ethnically diverse but you're glad the show doesn't depict that? Weird.

Netflix. First part is out, and I think second is dropping tomorrow.

Sweden has a large immigrant population. Plus lots of Swedes marrying foreign men/women.

I really really hate Rasmus. He's a major picture painter, which he did with all his dates, but he's soo shallow. And I didnt understand how everyone (incl him) thinks he's hot sh*t? (did you see how catja eye-f'd him when they met?!) DH was watching with me and told me he looks like a hamster and now I can't NOT see it hahaha. I also hated him when he was considering breaking up with her because she might be asian, based on the -Ly. Shallow hamster Ahole.

I also really hate Sergio. He seems abusive. He is testing Amanda to see how she reacts under stress, but its so manipulative and makes me really really uncomfortable. When he came up to her and was like "We're the IT couple" I almost spat out my drink. They are so far from that, is he just delulu? Or is that some sort of other test? I dont get it. I dont like him. I hope she doesnt end up marrying him.

Purple hair guy is so sweet and OTT, catja is just not into it lol. Every time hes like "hello my sweet sunshine" or whatever and I can see her trying so hard not to roll her eyes.

The preppy guy is soo funny to me. The girl is like - how can I introduce him to my family? Cut to scene of preppy guy, sweater over his shoulders playing with bubbles He seems nice enough, so maybe that will come around.

Rasmus is such a deleting, but he thinks he is God’s gift to women!

She is drop dead gorgeous.

His compliment to her was, “she is an exact copy of me.” Ycch!

(But she seems happy.)

LOVED the wedding episode. I think it was my favorite Love is Blind so far, and really nice to see so many get married. I feel like the editing was shady though: they really did Sergio and Meira a disservice with the edit to play up some "villain" angle. They showed Sergio's every weird moment, and really didn't show him and Amanda connecting at all. They also left out a lot of Meira and Oskar's connection to focus on the cultural differences.

Has an American version ever had such a high success rate?

I'm so sad Amanda and Sergio both said yes. I don't trust him at all, and all that wax in his hair is DISGUSTING. He really IS greasy, inside and out.

I have no idea what she sees in him…but they sure downplayed that supposed pregnancy, huh? Where was any discussion of whether the story was plausible??

I just watched the reunion show, and to avoid a spoiler, I will just say:

That dirty, dirty dog. She deserves better and I hope she comes to her senses and runs, despite the pregnancy.
