How much for an artificial Christmas Tree and how much to spend?

| My understanding is the lights on the prelit trees die and you're out of luck. For that reason we got a tree without lights. We've always had fresh cut trees but switched to artificial. It looks pretty realistic, tho. |

Because the lights burn out. And then it ends up in the landfill. Better to just add lights and get new ones when they burn out. I know 2 people with expensive Balsam Hill pre-lit trees that had issues with part of the lights no longer working within 5 years. Yeah you can put new ones on, but you can still see the non-working bulbs. We bought a BH tree, but got unlit so we can keep it for forever and not add to the piles of holiday waste. |
