How many years in prison for the most corrupted politician and his spouse on the East Coast of America?

Zero, not one single day. Just watch.

PP here and I hate Menendez and he should NOT have run again. But
A) The “most corrupt politician on the East Coast of America” is Trump;
B) The Trump DOJ is who dropped the charges in 2018 after the hung jury
C) The Biden DOJ is pursuing these new charges so all the “weaponization” stuff is BS
D) The Supreme Court made it very hard to prove bribery charges after they absolved Bob for Jobs

Should be interesting.
D)

The evidence here is damning and hard to deny.
This is the very definition of bribery and corruption if the indictment is accurate.
It is nothing like the 2018 charges.
And, the charges against the VA governor were bogus. You failed to point out that the case was overturned by a UNANIMOUS decision by SCOTUS.
Oh, and the US attorney who prosecuted that case? Jack Smith.

The verdict was overturned because, as I noted earlier, SCOTUS completely redefined what bribery is after that case. You now basically have to have a signed contract between briber and bribee setting forth what specific acts are to be done and how much is to be paid to prove it. And the fact that Smith got a conviction and it survived the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals on a law that was vague is impressive, so that’s not the burn you think it is.

Democrat here. Let the process play out. If the evidence is there, he will be convicted, and should be. DOJ is doing what it should do.

Another dem here. Innocent until proven guilty etc...but this doesn't look good at all.

Same. Amazing how Democrats are more likely to just accept that there will, from time to time, be corrupt members in their midst and that when that happens, they should be prosecuted and jailed.

The money found has DNA from those who bribed them.
The gold bars are worth approx. $150,000.

Surprise surprise surprise.

Not.

If he gave secrets to Egypt, he’s a traitor and should go to jail for a long time. Completely unacceptable.

- a liberal, woke, Democrat

+1 And I’ll go further and say that he should resign immediately.
- PP who said he shouldn’t have run again, also a liberal Democrat

Man, those Menendez kids must HATE that Honeypot that their dad married. I've met his son, he's a nice guy, serves in the House.

If Menendez had been a Republican MAGAs would have created a 100-page thread by now with their excuses.

He may be a Democrat, but he's also a crook. He and his wife and their friends belong in jail.
He should step down, and the Democratic governor of NJ should appoint another Democrat to replace him.

If you read the indictment, it looks like he's toast.

Shoo, troll.

The DOJ isn't perfect, but there are some very honest, hardworking, talented people working there, including those who indicted your Orange Maggot, trollie.

No, Menendez and his wife are headed for prison, and so is your fat blob of vulgar excrement. He's going to prison too. Can't wait to see that vile thing in an orange jumpsuit, headed for jail.

See, this is the difference between MAGA and normal people.

+1 I feel the same. Lifelong Dem.

Also - gold bars??? That feels like a detail in a movie, not real life. Gold bars?! What else, a safe tossed into the ocean?
