Sophomore Transfer from TJ to Base HS?

Better college admissions from top 20% of many base HSs than from bottom 50% of TJ.

To me, OP makes a lot of sense.

1. Kid will be a rising senior in a few months, so advice about this is too late now.

2. You have no idea if kid would have been top 20% at base HS. (Irksome when TJ parents seem to assume kids would definitely be at the top of a FCPS school and only are not b/c of TJ).
