I don’t have much to say about episodes, one and two. I do like the flashbacks and present-time back and forth. Sometimes that annoys me on shows but it’s good.

Episode 3: the prom scene is sad. I think belly is a little unreasonable. She does know she has a boyfriend with a dying mom right? Just chill out about prom. It’s so small in the scheme of things.
Now, I do agree w the stupid reality of her jumping or breaking up. I did that with someone I loved in my 20s even!! (Stupid) but actually I see now we weren’t a match so we would have been there inevitably.

They were both dumb. She catastrophized and assumed he wanted to break up. He didn’t just say No, I don’t want to break up. But they’re teenagers and teenagers are dumb.

My two older kids called my baby "chonk" because she was chubby and it was really really hard to get everyone to stop (they meant it in endearment). Can't imagine letting it go on to teenage years.

Just watching Season1 with my daughter (15). Why do they romanticize drink so much? I think it is so irresponsible. And the daughter, who just turned 16, saying the her mom (who just went out for drink), just got shagged?!?!

I’m hate watching the show. The acting is terrible. Stephen the brother is so annoying and odd looking, no way Taylor would kiss him. Belly is depressing.

I think they picked people for their looks (hello jawlines!) and not their acting.

I liked that, too, though were the voice overs the same actor? His voice sounded deeper.

Did anyone watch the "extra" material on prime where the creator and the two mom actresses are making smores brownies and talking about the show? The actresses look soooo uncomfortable!

I'm enjoying it for what it is. I want a beach house like that.

I also noticed the same thing about them romanticizing drinking. That is the change I would want to be made to this show - can they show teens not romanticizing drinking and drugs so much?

I agree, though at least in the last episode that dropped they show how drinking too much doesn't necessarily lead to fun and does lead to bad decisions. The drunk dial at the very end was so painful.

The show is annoying but I'll probably keep watching to see what happens. The one scene I liked in the last episode was "Party in the U.S.A." though I think overall Steven is so selfish.

Cam Cameron is the most likeable character for me. I hope he gets on the boat!
