Favorite Restaurants in/around Mosaic District

Just throwing a vote in for bartaco. We had lunch there yesterday and the food was excellent but what really impressed me was the service. They do QR code ordering which often means inadequate service, but they’ve figured it out. We put in our order and then my DH wondered out loud if they’d bring the apps first since we were starving. A waiter overheard him and immediately went and grabbed our chips and salsa/guacamole. Another waiter noticed our kid was antsy and asked if she’d like crayons and coloring. We gratefully said yes and he showed up a moment later with a full size coloring book featuring the same character as a book my kid had been reading (and it wasn’t a coincidence, he’d noticed the book and knew they had coloring books with that character).

They have nice outdoor seating that is protected from the elements, but it’s not huge, so I’d call to ask about that. But they also keep the whole front of the restaurant open to the outside so if you sat in the front section, you’d have really good air flow even if technically not on the patio.
