Smoothies - add in carb heavy fruits like banana. Blend in with berries or whatever. Milk, strawberry yogurt, ice .
I top it off with whip cream and a mini umbrella and sometimes will use a "fancy" glass (a margarita one) to serve it. Big hit with my kids. |
| He's 2, so at the height of developmental pickiness. Modifying your family diet in this way is just setting things up for long term control issues around 2. Just serve a variety of healthy foods, including fruit and carbs and dairy and meat and vegetables and it will sort out. Hiding vegetables, or changing your menu to only be things he likes isn't the answer. |
