| I am North Indian and run out of cumin on the reg but I also use it in stir fry- coat your chicken in cumin & cornstarch- after I had petr Changs years ago. it gives a depth of flavor. I put in a little bit of coriander whenever I make beef, it goes really well with beef. just bash it up some- very flavorful in hamburgers and beef stew. I can imagine it would be good in any thing using ground beef. |
| I put cumin in my guacamole. |
Yea! |
Same. I use cumin in nearly every dish |

Falafel has both

Us too. I use it as the only spice in a simple lentil soup. I also add it (plus chopped garlic and green onion and olive oil ) to a smashed potatoes. Also good with warmed up chickpeas with lemon and fresh garlic. Or roasted carrots. Now coriander I don’t use off hand ever. Pretty much only if I’m making a recipe that calls for it |

I love this roasted squash with cumin and coriander. You can adjust or omit cayenne according to personal preference. It is good as a side dish and I love the leftovers in a salad.

This recipe for pork chops is great. We don’t bother with the green apple tomatillo side anymore. https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/grilled-monster-pork-chops-with-tomatillo-and-green-apple-sauce-109529
