As to Wrigley's hair, it is driving him nuts too! He would be so much better looking if it was longer or shorter. Something! |
Sorry, it's true. She's living with him present day, but still dreaming of Stephen..... |
Stephen is just awful. He was with Macy the night she died?! |
Yes Stephen, it's weird you haven't been on a plane when you're 20.... |
When was that revealed? I thought ep 4 was not good. |
Episode 3. He was looking at naughty photos of her. I assume it was the night she died, because girl was literally at school for two days--when else would he have had time? |
I think they were friends from high school. |
Yes ditto this. They were friends before college (or well at least knew each other) |
I’m trying this series for the 2nd time. I made it through the first episode this time and I just started the 2nd. Stephen looks much older than everyone else. I feel like I’m supposed to like Lucy but I find her annoying. Honestly, so far I don’t really like any of the characters all that much. |
You are right! Sorry. But at least I got one parent right. LOL. |
Yes, I think it is. Which is weird, right? She met both of them as freshman and eight years later, it’s still those two? I went through a lot of guys in college. |
No that is supposed to show how poor he is. I found it believable and in character. |
Yup. By age 20 I had only been on a plane one time and my aunt and uncle paid for me to come visit them. My husband also didn't take his first plane ride until her was an adult. Now my kids fly 4 times a year lol. I think not flying until you are adult is pretty common for kids that grow up at lower incomes. |
It is. Sometimes they don’t even leave their own neighborhood. My friend used to work with a group of low income youth in DC and she took them to pentagon city mall and they were quite impressed, they had never been. There was also an episode on the TV show The Chi that showed this. The school received a grant to take the kids to some fancy museum (this is in Chicago). As the bus ride by Lake Michigan they were all in awe cause they had never seen it. I didn’t grow up poor (we were low/middle class), but many of my family were poor so I’ve seen this sort of thing first hand too. |
Am I the only one who looks at Lucy and sees Shailene Woodley? |
