Can you recommend a college essay writing program?

No shit Sherlock. Most of these are writing programs. For others they help with the process and the editing. At DC’s private, a good part of English class for the first 4 weeks focuses on college essay. Many drafts, comments, rewrites. No one writes it for them. Others do review, comment, and suggest edits.

the class spends 4 WEEKS on this? That is an awful lot of help. The thing is not even that long.

What’s it called?

Don't remember, this was 4 years ago.

The high school was WJ.

Their PTSA might still work with the same set of speakers.

Sorry but I don't have anyone there anymore.

Our public told kids if they came back to school senior year with a draft, they could make an appointment to go over it with an English teacher. Once.

That seemed fair to me (not 4 WEEKS of massaging, come on!)

Yes. Kids move at different speeds. Our DC is done with his but it does need some edit work ad could use another set of eyes I am sure. I have not read it yet. My guess is our DC will be done in a week ad moving on to other stuff. Other kids maybe not.

My DD used RichardMontauk.com. He's by the hour, not a package, which for us made a huge difference. She got into oxford. he did review her essays - I did not (DH) so can't comment about how the essays improved with his input.
