Random dude taking multiple pictures our cars? Are they planning on stripping our cars for parts?

He has only been gone 2 days and drove it 3 days ago, both cars are in front of our house where we’ve been parking for like 15 years

I’m wondering this too. Someone is trying to show that there is someone at your house who shouldn’t be there.

Are you having an affair, by chance? Private investigators take photos of the cars in people’s driveways to show who was there and that they stayed overnight.

Definitely no chance of affair

We had this happen in our neighborhood. Car thieves casing cars for parts.

I wouldn’t have confronted him, but I would have taken his picture through the window, and watched to see if he got in a car I could get its picture and/or license plate number.

Creepy.

He ran into the woods afterwards. I figured he would be on a blink camera video, but alas, I couldn’t find him on any. I’m so freaked out, I’m going to sleep in my one sons room tonight (who is with his dad out of town) that is in the front of the house so hopefully any noise will wake me up. My bedroom is in the back of the house. Ugh.

Give us an update tomorrow please. Good luck.

Put a sign in the window of each car stating “This vehicle is under video surveillance”

You couldn't have banged on the window and given him the WTF gesture?

And move the car in the meantime - even if only to switch spots with your other car. If it happens again and you have a remote panic button, set off the alarm.

I would move both cars.

Funny you posted this, I had already hung signs in the windows! Thanks! I’ll update if anything happens…

Nothing happened last night, but I was so anxious I barely slept!
