If you go to Dazzle Dry's website there is a place you can search for salons that provide it! |
This exact thing happened to me too with Dazzle Dry! Will never use again! |
This is good to know. The person I went to actually said it helped make nails healthier, but I did notice mine getting drier and whiter with the polish off. I will now be taking breaks especially during the winter. |
Woah! Keratin Granulation. I hadn't heard of this before. I just googled that and it's exactly what I have but not from the brand op mentioned. I usually use Zoya. But my toenails have this now and I'm growing them out. But any time I have them covered for months in a row I get this and have to leave them bare until they grow out. |
I’m a manicurist pedicurist. You should always with any polish or nail enhancement's it will not let you nails breath. I recommend not wearing polish constantly. And always use cuticle oil it absorbs through cuticle. Use twice a day. I hate all the chop shops for nails they’re doing damage to the nail bed. Sometimes can permanently damage the nail!!!! |
So I don’t even use Dazzle Dry but something similar happened to me.
The docs say it’s not fungus, but my nails are white and chalky and no amount of oil seems to help |
Me too. |
The Dazzle Dry website has a salon locator function. |
I get that white on my toenails just from regular polish and wearing it too long. |
Same. I have cuticle oil that I put on, and I rub it into the nail. A few days of that takes care of it. Well, not 100%. But like 75% or so. |
Yes I don’t even use Essie polish because I’ve had issues. I do my own nails now and always use a base coat and OPI polish. I get dry white nails if I leave one color on too long. |
I’ve had the white chalky thing on my toe nails as well, both after removing dazzle dry and regular polish. The one thing that works to remove it is to run an electric nail file on the surface of your toe nails. This is the one I use https://a.co/d/etZdgLa I use the brown tip that is for calluses on the surface of the nail very briefly ( you want to make sure it doesn’t thin your nail ) and it works like a charm |
I’ve had this nail issue on my big toes and I only use regular polish - thanks to OP and all the others for explaining the cause and the PSA! Removing my toe polish tomorrow to breath for a month before true sandal season |
