Obviously, park at the arena. Only eat there. No stops for gas/sundries before or after. Move quickly through the neighborhood. Have a plan in case your car fails. It’s a safe arena. It’s not a safe neighborhood. |

I have been for wnba games and felt safer there than at Capital One Arena. There's a lot of security and everyone is coming and going at the same time, either to cars or buses/metro. I imagine the crowd would be different for boxing and I personally would rather be with the wnba audience, but if you are going you probably aren't worried about the other people who are going. |

Kids from the wealthiest wards would go to the Fort Dupont Ice Arena in SE DC for hockey. It’s not a big deal. Just drive defensively and don’t wander. |
