Yep pottery barn shipping is absolutely awful. Delays delays. Ordered over 12k worth of furniture and took over 6 months to get it all.
Absolutely unacceptable. I paid $133.90 shipping for a floor lamp and table lamp. Got the table lamp quick still waiting 3 weeks plus on floor lamp. Just got an updated email that I won’t get it til August 1st est. The could mail it for less than that. I always order in store and that hasn’t made a bit of difference. I found bedroom set I would love to order but for the above reason I won’t. |

| After waiting 6 months then getting told they were delayed again, I had my credit card company reverse the charge. Never again. |
| They just mailed me a wood swatch one year late. Ha! Other furniture is long since purchased. Not from them. |

I ordered a dresser in January and was told it would be here in April. It finally got delivered earlier this week and I feel lucky to have received it. I need to follow up with them to see about compensation. I had called multiple times because they kept delaying the shipping date with no explanation or emails (it was in the order when I would check to see what the status was). I would call and complain and they had no idea where it was or when it would be here. One snarky customer service person told me in June she would be happy to reverse the charges if I wanted to buy one somewhere else. I had already waited and didn't want to start the whole process over again - and they know they have you at that point.
I think the thing that frustrated me the most was not keeping me informed about the delays. If they had to said to me in January that the dresser wouldn't arrive until July, I may have chosen another place to buy a dresser or at least I would have been prepared for a long wait. If I did go ahead with it I would have never called to complain before July. I almost felt like it was a bait and switch - "it will arrive by April....oh wait a minute....shipping delays." I am a reasonable person but calling and having them have NO idea where it was or when it would come was annoying. Oh, and they didn't stop preauthorizing my card each month! In June I had gotten a new debit card and they wrote me a terse email saying if I didn't call them in 48 hours they would be canceling my whole order. I'm so done with them! |

OP here, Pottery Barn said they'd deliver yesterday and.... surprise! No show. Glad I didn't get rid of my old couch yet.
PB stinks. Stay away. |
| It happened to me before the pandemic! By the way, they say you can order new sofa cushion covers but it costs more than buying a new sofa if you need to replace most of them! |
| This happened to us with a Pottery Barn Kids furniture order. They offered 5% (of the purchase price) compensation in a return to our card or 10% in a Pottery Barn gift card. |
| Omg I feel so seen. We ordered 2 kids beds from the ‘In Stock’ section of the website in June . It hasn’t even left for the ‘delivery center’. My kids will be sleeping on mattresses until 2024. |
| I ordered something in may 2021 that was just delivered. I had forgotten all about it. I called and got a gift card worth about 10% of the purchase price. |
| I ordered a bed in November 2021 that didn't arrive until late May 22 with multiple delivery issues. They gave me a $335 gift card, which did improve my mood. |

Wow!! Glad I read this. I was considering a bench from PB. I'm not anymore. We've had really good luck with Restoration Hardware and Arhaus. Both delivered within the quoted timeframe -both about 10 weeks. I ordered dining room chairs from RH a few weeks ago and they should be here late November. |
| So give all these delivery delays—where is the best palace to order a full size bed frame for my DS that can be delivered in a reasonable amount of time? Would appreciate any recommendations. TIA! |

I too have been burned by PB “in stock” lies. After multiple delays, I finally called and just cancelled the order.
Room and Board has been the best. Great customer service and accurate delivery times. |
