| Son was accepted in December in school of Arch., Arts and Humanity. Act 31 3.9/4.0 unweighted. Clemson will recalculate gpas so kids that have taken a lot of IB/AP courses will get a bump. But acceptance rates are major and school dependent so comparing stats may not be that accurate. Yield rate was hard to predict last year. A couple majors took too many. It will be a lean year for those majors. We were not told what majors those were. Good luck to everyone! |

| Congrats to your son!! Will he attend? We visited the campus this fall and DD fell in love. She wants to study business which I know is popular which makes her chances even lower. I hope they actually review the whole application and not just scores/GPA. I believe SC did that and deferred those not making the marks. Tough year for students who are B and B + students. No grade inflation at all at DD’s private! |

That's good. Another issue we have is we need some financial aid and I don't think the southern state schools are as generous. We did get some at a few State schools but not that much. |
