Leather Tote - Portland Leather Company?

I have a tote and now a purse from them and have been very pleased. I bought the tote before the pandemic and loved using it for work. Very well made, sturdy, and beautiful. It is smooth leather in the chestnut-y color. Back in the fall I bought a smaller purse in a darker brown leather, and also very pleased with it. I use it every day and have not had any issue with wear and tear. And I just love the look of the classic leather bag.
Also, both of my orders were processed quickly and I had the bags in hand within a week.

This is OP. I looked at the Cuyana totes as well. They seem to be more dressy. Which one do you have? I was afraid that they will get all scratched up and ruined easily.

It’s a type I’ve brought to work and to the playground, so it can be dressy or not. I definitely think it is casual enough for everyday wear

PP who had the same question. I asked in that other thread about Italic. They’re another company who is showing up in my FB ads and their bags look nice. One person on that thread had a positive report from buying from there.

OP again, thank you so much. I do like this one a lot. Zipper on tote is a must for me and the tote insert is a nice add on. Now I will have to decide b/t the Cuyana and the PLC. Don't think I want to get one from each, that would be too much bag. I am very much a one bag person that will use a single bag until it just dies, aka, strap breaks or zippers give out.

I love my portland leather mini tote. However, I also ordered a wallet with a zipper and hate how cheap their zippers are. The zipper on the wallet is large and a really garish fake metal color. I'd hate to have that on a bag.

I bought one for myself last month. I love it. It’s the large tote, which is big, but it’s all I need for work. It holds everything.

First off, they ship super fast. I purchased Tuesday afternoon, it shipped Wednesday and it’s already here.

I received the one color I didn’t want, but I had a feeling it was the one I was getting:
- green (kiwi on the site) pebbled leather with a zipper. I’m happy it has a zipper and I guess it will be my spring color. Time to step out of my comfort zone
The other mystery items:
- dark brown smooth leather wrap journal. I love this! Super classic and cute. I don’t see it currently on their site other than paper refills so maybe it’s being discontinued?
- honey smooth leather mini envelope wallet. It’s small but I think I’ll use it for medical cards.
- sangria pebbled eclipse make up bag.
- grizzly smooth leather key clip. I’ll also but this to good use since I don’t need my key to start my car, and my remote thing is always lose in my purse. I knew there would be a smaller item and I’m happy it’s not the leather tassel.

Overall I’m very happy. It was kind of like Christmas or a birthday to get a surprise of something you know you’ll want.

I have a pebbled black leather tote from Portland leather and love it. It was the only one I could find that was large enough for my laptop, lunch, workout outfit and daily stuff. I couldn’t be happier. I got a zippered one with the pocket added, and a felt organizer from Amazon. It is the nicest bag I own! Don’t hesitate, highly recommend.

This is OP. Happy that you will be able to put the items to good use. Green is also not my favorite color, but I do agree with you, this is a great way to go out of one's comfort zone.
