| I don't care. I rarely drink any more, but will have a cocktail occasionally, so not a big part of my life. |
If this was a question for the non drinker above (me) if I feel like embarrassing my husband, I’ll order a Shirley Temple. With my co-workers friends usually nothing or water. Those two groups know I don’t drink. If I’m with a new group, I order Cherry Coke. |
| I haven’t been able to drink for the past 12 years for medical reasons. No one cares. |
|
kinda weird you don’t want to have a friend and can’t enjoy them being sober
i don’t drink because i have a history with it if a friend can’t accept that i don’t want to drink, that’s not the friend for me |
| They’re losers. Socially awkward losers. |
| I find drinking is something emphasized more in the DC area than other parts of the US I have lived in. I drink, but stopped when trying to have children and realized I didn't miss it very much. This is the only place I have ever been pressured to drink, including college. |
| As a middle age drunk, good for them |
| I don’t like the evidence of increased cancer recurrence and alcohol consumption. Makes it easy to pass on alcohol. |
You're right. The drunks are socially awkward losers. |
| Don’t care. If anything, my opinion is favorable - I think it’s great if people don’t drink for whatever reason. Too much alcohol isn’t good for anyone. I’ll have a glass of wine when I’m out with friends, but I hate mommy wine culture |
Of course - I don’t care. They can be the DD
|
Seriously. Wish I had never touched the stuff. OP, your friends that are worried about you killing the vibe sound like of sucky. |
I probably am. It's not because I don't drink though. |
+1 |
I like ice water. |
