Updating my makeup for my 40s

Not to threadjack, but to those PPs who are advocating for a new skin care routine, what do you recommend? I have an appt with a new derm in a few weeks and would love to go armed with requests. I already use vit C serum, high PPD sunscreen, and just started using a retinoid again after a few years off for TTC/pregnancy/breastfeeding. I'm early 40s, very few fine lines, med-dark skin with a few faint lines, but I would like some help with texture/smoothness and some age spots.

I started using just the revitalift serum under other makeup and it makes a huge difference in terms of my skin looking fresh and more dewey.
I also agree with doing something with eyebrows—I like the mascara style brow filler.
I also really need better eye liner—with aging, my eyes are shrinking into my head and my lashes are thinning so I need a little something to make them pop. I’ve been using a brown liner so it’s not as harsh as black.

Tretinoin is the best thing you can do for anti-aging.
