DH went to a CVS in friendship Hts this week. Totally fine. Kelly Goodman’s office is doing them. I got an email from Giant this week about walk ins available for boosters.

Thanks. Which one? Also what time of day and what day? In wondering if part of the problem was that I went Saturday afternoon.

NP. Not sure which one that poster means but I got my booster in the CVS that's inside the Target in Tenleytown and it was pleasant and quick. I did it on weekday morning though and there was barely anyone else there, which probably helped. Appointments are easy to make online.

Giant in Anacostia and it was a Wednesday afternoon and CVS in Dupont Circle and I can't recall the time of day.

But OP why are you so concerned? What are you expecting to avoid or find?

Couldn't have been easier at CVS at 5550 Conn Ave. I took my 94 yo mom this afternoon. No wait.

PP again. If you are concerned about the bleeding disorder, why not go to a hospital? My kids were born at GW so that's what I know and recommend:

Safeway in Alexandria on King. Made a same day appointment online, was emailed paperwork to print and complete in advance so I wouldn't have to stand around completing it there, very easy check in process, got my shot and a 10% grocery coupon which I used during my 15 min wait of hanging out in the store post shot. Also they had plenty of Binax take home covid tests behind the pharmacy counter which seem to be in very short supply everywhere else. All the employees were very professional and pleasant. A+

This was for my covid booster.

I walked into the closest Safeway last week without an appt. around 12 and didn't wait at all.

Thank you! Anyone been to this?

I’m looking for a place where the vaccine administrators are hopefully well experienced, not quickly trained pharmacist assistants or something, and where they will take a minute or two to listen to my concerns about avoiding getting a hematoma. The cvs pharmacist was so overwhelmed with work, I don’t think she could have taken the time to do that.
