When you buy an ice cream maker

Use it all summer, collects more dust in the winter. It’s a bit messy so prefer to do it outside, or in the sink if it’s winter. Also better with fresh seasonal fruit. You can probably find a good used one.

Only good if you want to make flavors you can’t readily buy.

We don't use our hand crank ice cream maker because the ice cream it makes as not as delicious as our favorite store-bought flavors.

I once made a delicious champagne sorbet but never really felt like having it again.

My husband liked to make pumpkin ice cream. I didn't like it.

My sister bought an electric ice cream maker which she uses to make ice cream that I actually actively avoid. Not a fan of homemade green tea ice cream, etc.
