Indeed - and thanks for clarifying for everybody. People should not put the blame on kids who were unable to take the SAT not even organized in October and cancelled in January. People should not blame kids either about whether their schools communicated about AE or not. Kids aware who thought they would qualify used it as allowed by the NM corporation. Yes, unfair but that's life. PSAT is tough for sure - but an index of 224 with AE also shows quite an achievement. Another MCPS Mom |
| Both DC and MD appear a little male dominated, which is interesting since women outnumber men in college now. |
Really???? Sidwell has 15. |
Huh???? Sorry moco? |
Add one more female to Blair in late additions (& numbers there are pretty even, maybe weighted to girls already). And, I think there are a few more to add too. |
| Anyone knows TJ's list? |
No, but Virginia's cut off was three points lower than DC and MD! |
My high scoring SAT kid missed the deadline for submitting — it was a tumultuous time in our family and the school was not good about telling the kids to do it. It’s a shame because they would have had at least one more NMSF on their list if they had. |
| My kid skipped the sat and psat. There was a pandemic going on. |
Weird list from DC. I'm guessing it is incomplete. |
Nope. Not incomplete. You just wish it were |
I am so sorry. We were in the same boat initially (canceled PSAT + tough time for family), but my kid did see the notice, even though there wasn't much fanfare about it and was able to get it in. I was totally clueless because of family situation. I am so sorry for your kid. But, the colleges will really care about the SAT score. They will know that many kids couldn't take the PSAT, and really their focus would be on SAT anyway. Hugs to you and congrats to your kid on the great SAT score! |
Yes, incomplete in the sense that a lot of kids didn't take the tests. |
